Two’s
In our two year old rooms we will be starting potty training with your child. So if you feel your child is ready, please let the teacher know and we can work together to accomplish this. Please always make sure they have an extra pair of clothes in case of any accidents. Also we are doing away with the sippy cups in these rooms. The children will learn how to drink out of their cups, as well as sitting in their seats.
Fun Shine has a curriculum designed especially for the Two’s. The Curriculum introduces numbers, colors, positional concepts, as well as problem solving. We also teach sign language in all of our classrooms as well. The sign language is provided by Fun Shine. Each month your child will learn different signs as a part of our curriculum.
Along with our educational curriculum we will enhance your child’s moral development by teaching a Christian curriculum. By the Barnyard Gate is a Christian school and we want to provide an environment to show the love of God to every child who attends. Each lesson will provide your child with a Bible-based, non-denominational, kid-friendly, Faith Lesson to help your child understand what God’s Word means for them.

In the Two’s room we use the Fun Shine Express Fireflies Accredited program. We start our Christian curriculum with Two’s as well as athletics for extra curricular activity. If you have any questions or would like further information, please e-mail us using our contact page on our website.
A New Concept
By the Barnyard Gate was created for the kid in all of us. Our foyer is a fun place easily accessible to school visitors, students and parents, and keeps unnecessary traffic away from the learning centers. The classrooms are self contained so the children feel safe and secure. The children have beautiful outdoor playgrounds with age appropriate equipment to help build confidence and large motor skills. We have also added a large indoor play land for those hot and rainy days.
